Venue 12: Nic GotchMy still-life photographs include the ´Season Sphere´ collection where I have used natural materials, collected with care and uniquely arranged. These images are not artificially created but are as they appear using mirrors for extra effect. My new ´Pavement Art´ series examines the unnoticed beauty of what lies at our feet, literally what we walk on. The images are presented almost as museum pieces. For the ´Municipal Haringey´ series the fixtures and fittings were chosen for the subtle colours and metal they have in common, also revealing the connection between the hard materials used and femininity.  I am a founding member of the North London Photographic Society. Their website is www.northlondonphoto.co.uk

Venue 02: Rosemary DaviesMy work focusses on the imprint of an image on memory and the tension between that and the surface of the paint. Life informs my work but does not dictate it. My way of working allows unconscious processes to emerge which are often the most powerful. I allow the medium to make suggestions, pouring, layering or scraping the paint.
